Last week in Science, we looked at the weathering of rocks. We learnt that water can cause rocks to break into FRAGMENTS and eventually it can become SEDIMENT. (The words in capitals are the new words we learnt!)
Today, we went out and around the school to hunt for numbers! When we found one, we added 1, 10 and 100 (or 11 if we were in Year 2!). We’re looking forward to doing some more addition and subtraction this week.
We have had a great week learning! So far, we’ve done a bit of grammar (learning about verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs), we’ve also looked at place value in maths. We can all work out a two digit number using equipment now! Everybody has at least one housepoint which you can see on our ClassDojo page. Well done everyone!
